The timer ticks away
Finally I have finished writing one of the pending blogs in one of my other blogs today and have posted a number of pics along with it!
I really mean to finish a number of blogs those are waiting for me to finish but I guess it would only be possible once I get back. So the first thing I got to do is to get the Internet connection, I would direly need it, I know!
It seems to me that the days are flying and sometimes it slows down until it stops completely...strange thing tie don't you think? For, time runs differently for different people. The same time is very fast for people who enjoys and then it is equally slow for the ones for whom there is sorrow. It is always agreed that time flies when you are having fun slows down when you hate something to do.
There is absolutely no doubt about that! but the time is of such a peculiar nature as such I find that time is of an unique essence of which there is so much subtlety that it is almost impossible for one to perceive its elegance.
But however, I know that this is all bogus and by this time every one would be bored to death so i shall stop here and let it go at that......Time flies and where it goes one may not know......

Fresh From My Scheming Mind! Part 3

The best way to get him is to show him you genuinely care about him and worry about him but in the process compel him into such a situation that he severely humiliates himself just by eating on his own words.

Dudeism!!! That's the new Mantra!!!

even Jesus Christ was a great "Dude", in fact the basic essence of Dudeism is that all the greatest men have preached mankind to be relax and shrug it off and they have been saints...Dudeist Saints all of them and now the glorious new order of the Church of the latter day dude comes into light, it shrugs off the rigid chains of age old orthodoxy, the Dudeists believe in letting it go and practise tolerance and try to free the heart of conflict, the leisurely feeling which should be a constant state of mind is nothing less than continuous meditation...

...Initially the Dudeist culture seems to have a loser and nihilistic attitude towards life, a sheer disregard, regarding any higher standards of morality, a continuous lethargic and laid back attitude, may make some people not take their philosophy seriously, but if looked at closely, the attitude of their 's is clearly be seen from their vision of universality "The Dude Vinci" a combination of one of the most prominent Dudeist preacher and thinker and the Vitruvian man, but if looked at from a different perspective, we would able to see the true nature of it's philosophy, the call for universal peace and non-violence is commendable although the problem lies that the perspective is rather crude, but every culture at it's growth stays crude,by crude I mean the way of life of the "American take-it-easiness", but I guess, a developed culture only flourishes out of the ashes of barbaric idiocy and ignorance, after all humans have always had to learn it the hard way, the inherent philosophy is definitely something to be cherished as long as the person can keep his basic knowledge of what is good and bad along with the minimum common sense of how to be a basic human being, but along with that one could definitely have a peaceful life by bathing in the pool of life without any social binding towards which he does not find any attachment although not drowning himself in the crack of sluggish lethargy and a decadent detachment towards anything and everything in life....

The Central powers were led by Germany under The rule of Prinz Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Albert von Preußen, Wilhelm II the last Kaiser or German Emperor

Anytime is Nap Time!!!
Yep you heard it! From School to College to Office I have this very bad habit of falling asleep at the oddest possible times, whenever things are moving slow or I am feeling bored (almost always) I confidently go to sleep. It is, as if, almost an overpowering effect comes over me and literally drags me into the deepest slumber, I actually dream during some of these naps.
I remember all too well, as many of my friends would too, during college many a periods passed when Poonam or Arindam or Binota (my friends) poked me up so I could answer my roll call and I would do it and turned the other way to settle down more comfortably in the nap I had been enjoying for the past hour or so. The same thing happens at the Office, after lunch like a Bengali, my instinct remains true to my race, that is, my entire being beckons me to gently drift into a comforting siesta and I occasionally wake up with almost all my department standing on their toes straining to take a look at me peacefully sleeping, this is even when I have work to do and might have a deadline to meet! But the reason for my dosing off to oblivion remains almost the same, it is my body's response towards one my most hated things, disinterest, whenever I lose interest on something I tend to dose off, I have always noticed.
But, I still can't explain the reason of another type of nap I sometimes get, sometimes when I am relaxing, it so happens whenever I do get interested, I tend to go to fall asleep! People usually read boring stuff to help them sleep, for me, however, give me a nail biting thriller any day, given a boring novel, I shall stay awake for hours on end and might even finish of the entire boring material before I actually get some sleep!
Picture this:
I was at New empire (that's a movie hall) watching Bourne Ultimatum.....remember the scene where Bourne follows the assassin through the windows of Istanbul(I am not sure of the place's name)? as they start jumping from window to window, doing death defying stunts, expecting, that at least the viewers would stay interested(most of them were holding there breath actually) what did I do?I fell asleep and not just that, I actually got up when I was pushed by Poo and Ard to get out of the Hall! Same thing happened with Mission Impossible Three, I was verbally molested by Suro and Nandy(both die hard MI fans by the way)!
Talk about books, was reading Bankim Chandra's Raj Shingha, Princess Rupmati the princess is being taken away, Manicklal has already joined the Mogul army to take the princess away to safety when the assault starts, the army has entered the narrow pass, overhead the rajputs are ready to attack; the promise of a very entertaining and bloody battle is on the call... what happens to me? My head slowly starts nodding, my eyes becomes smaller and smaller, the heavy book slides slowly out of my loosening grips, onto my chest and the very soft and discreet roar of my nose could be faintly heard, as I, dose off to a surprisingly tiring sleep! for an hour or two!
I could never forgive myself for letting me miss out such wonderful moments of my life; for not letting me watch myself enjoying either a good movie or a good book!
Well I guess I shall continue this I don't know how long while I strife to keep myself awake during some of the most interesting times of my life!(I need not worry about the boring parts as I already would be happily and peacefully sleeping away!)
I just hope things will change for better I shall have my "Awakening"(pun seriously intended!)

My Birthday's Coming!!! I will be...Oh! Forget it!
Really, I honestly do not get the hang of this. Whenever I try to calculate my age, one of the four ladies of my life never fails to confuse me......
How on earth do they calculate it? At first I am of a certain age(of which I am not at all sure of!) then after a few days, I have an entirely different age with a "+" on it and then after numerous calculations when I finally come close to get the right answer, the year's over and it starts all over again!
But luckily the four ladies in my life, albeit, my mom, her mom, my dad's mom(God rest her soul) and my Girl Friend always manage to get my age right somehow, and I have asked them separately(to find out whether this is all an elaborate prank they play, just to annoy me) and they have always kept absolute parity with each other's calculations!!
Usually, I don't bother too much about my age or how old I am or would be...but you need it when you fill up forms, for crying out loud! I mean, can you believe what a fool I would look, if I find out in the middle of an interview, that I have been happily telling them my wrong age all along just because I couldn't calculate it? Where on Earth would my Competency quotient go to?
No, I possibly can't take the risk, thus, I boldly write(after hours of calculations, preferably with a calculator and pen paper by my side, just in case!) my age, as calculated by myself! Oh! That day I was really proud of myself! why do I need anybody to calculate my own age for me, why would I need anybody for anything for that matter? I was perfectly capable of supporting myself!
I was the monarch of all I surveyed and my right there was none to dispute!
Later, I found, I had been wrong about my age, and, as someone smilingly(I didn't see his face, I was just too ashamed, to meet his eyes!) pointed out to me, that the girls have been right all along!
I don't give much to the age factor, really I don't see the point, like they say, why celebrate? After all,you loose another year of your life! And you are closer to your death by another year.........!
........Also because I still can't calculate my true age...but I have the girls for that, they will do it for me!
So....without further delay.....
I wish a Very Happy Birthday to Me!.....
May all the four girls(although not the third!), stay in their perfect health and continue reminding me of my true age!
But most importantly, may I always stay a kid at heart, no matter what they say!

That's For Me!

Musings of an employed one
That is what people say when, they join a new job but as time passes the answers become more and more grudging
"Everything is OK but if I had a little more chance to grow..."; "It would be great if the company plans to diversify in the finance sector after all that's where my real expertise lie..."; "but it's still a living, a good one ...I guess"
Give a few more days then the statements get further modified
"Damn it! I have to get my ass into that goddamn office and have to slog through those goddamn files just to earn a pathetic existence!"; "Oh No! Today's Thursday! Two more days to go before I can shut out those dumb faces from that hole of an office!”; “Why me? What did I do to deserve such an awful office?”
However, not everyone is like that every now and then we come across people saying, "Well...it doesn't pay much but it’s a life and I definitely can grow here and...Well, what do you know? I quite love my job!" and this even after the statutory period of initial affair with one's job has long expired.
In fact it seems it is merely perceptional discrepancies as to whether one likes his job or not.
It is sometimes confusing, if one has to do something for the larger portion of one's life why not do something that one actually cherishes?
Then it strikes that there are unforeseen situations which constitutes the hurdles of this race known in the popular culture as life. One may want to do something and might end up doing something completely different for the rest of one's life and can do nothing else but either wonder how would things turn out if he could actually pursue his dream or for the lesser knowledgeable people who have no idea as to what or why they want anything in there life go around just being sour at people.
It pays to muse sometimes whether one has taken the right path in one's life, then it strikes, life has just begun...
