a little trivia about Biriyani...it's actual Origin...

Dude, thanks a ton for your comment o my food guide! I am really pleased to know you enjoyed it!I did mention Biriyani(Aminia, Zeeshan bedouin, Shabir's and Nizam's (and I know you CANNOT forget khwaja!). I would like to point to you the environment and the conditions under which the Biryani came to it's sweet existence:
Did you know two of the subtlest creations with the Muslim impact in India took birth in the battle field? One is the poetic language of Urdu and the next is the ultimate gastronomic art Biriyani!

Urdu was created as a hi breed language for the better communication of Hindu soldiers(Hindi speaking) and Muslim Soldiers(mostly speaking Farsi or Persian at that time).

Same way Biriyani was accidentally created by a frustrated cook, who needed to go to war in the morning and had to cook in the evening, one day he, out of pure frustration, left rice and meat, slowly simmering, over a small fire in a cauldron with water in the morning and was delighted to find a wholesome and tasty meal hot and cooked perfectly in the evening when he returned, this crude procedure has been refined infinitely over the ages but the basic concept of preparation remains the same to this day! just a Little trivia and also something to ponder upon, just to imagine that Urdu, a language with so much finesse was crated for barking orders at each other for killing fellow human beings, which eventually turned into a language of poetry beauty and love. And the rough fare of a soldier after a tiring day was eventually refined into one of the most exotic and subtle cuisines of the World! A delicacy without the customary glitch of procuring an acquired taste!

Urdu Script written in the likeness of a Masjid depicting peace and love of God

A mouthwatering Dish of Biriyani with all it's Glory!

Makes one think doesn't it?
